First off, I would give them more stars if I could! The amount of care that my dogs receive here is incomparable to any in the area. They care for my dogs here, and are amazing at helping me understand my dogs health. Both dogs in my home are not just our dogs, but service dogs in training. They loved on both Loki and Jolene, and were great for Jolene's spay this past Friday. I can't thank the staff here enough!! Such amazing and caring staff.
I absolutely love this vet. Dr. Allen is my go to vet. She has a great attitude and is always willing to answer any questions I have. I never feel rushed and I feel like she makes sure I understand exactly what’s going on. It’s very clean and does not smell like stale dog pee like most other places. Sometimes it’s a little harder to get a hold of them via phone but they do fit in for emergency’s as well. I have made this new permanent vet.
I am retracting my previous review. I had taken my elderly cat (16) to the vet for facial swelling. He saw Dr. Rudakewicz. She proceeded to pull a scab off of his face, saying that it would "allow the "abscess" to drain" and instructed me to use Neosporin on the wound - which I come to find out is NOT SAFE for cats!! Now, a little more than a week later, his face has an open wound that will not heal. Photos are attached. the first one is two days before his appointment; the second is the day of his appointment - you can see the small hole left by the scab that was removed by the vet; the third, is a week after his appointment and the final one is just 2 days ago. I am highly disappointed in the way they handled his situation and caused him more stress and discomfort. This is totally unacceptable and He will be seeing a new vet today.
Staff was great as well as the vet. Price was fair. Our girl seemed better after first rehab treatment. Update: When we first went other vets were talking euthanasia, today our girl graduated rehab and playing with her fur siblings.
Would give negative stars if possible. Vet knowledge and service is no issue. Their margin markup is over 100% on services and prescriptions. Way better and cheaper vets out there. Do not recommend and will tell everyone and anyone to not use them. ABSOLUTE CROOKS!
They’re very good and professional. I love hearing Dr Sarsfield tell me about some of the nitty gritty science details of the issues with my cats. He’s helped me out with two of my complicated kitties and I appreciate his knowledge. All of the office staff been great too. Prices are competitive and fair. The only thing Ive had trouble with is no one answers the phone for scheduling… like ever- the front desk I mean. The emergency line is answered of course when I needed it, and if you have an extension then that staff member answers or returns your call quickly. It’s just the front desk that never picks up. You have to send an email request and wait for them to call you back if you want to schedule an appt. That’s really the only frustrating thing for me and that is just a little thing. I would recommend this veterinarian without hesitation as a high quality place to get care for your pets.
The staff and Veterinarians there are top notch, they made me and my 5 month old fur baby feel so comfortable and assured that she was in very good hands. My Bella got a shot and an oral dose and they had no problems with giving either one to her and she didn’t put up a fuss or resistance …they will remain her Vet office and I know she will be healthy and happy for years to come!!
Good Lord make sure your on time! We are new to the area just moved here and there are like 3 places all with the same name. When we called to say we were at the wrong location they got an attitude and said if we weren’t there in 10 minutes we would have to reschedule. How convenient when they took a non- refundable $75 deposit. We got there 10 minutes late and the rest of the staff was friendly however the lady scheduling rolled her eyes and gave us major attitude. I’m sorry I didn’t realize you couldn’t be new to the area! Oh an the appointment was 10 minutes long. Maybe sitting at Shores for 5 hours is better.
